Please be aware of an on-going issue that all event organisers are having to deal with. A company called ‘Commercial Online Manuals’ is sending misleading letters/invoices to exhibitors of many fairs encouraging them to subscribe to their expo Guide.
The invoices are titled ‘Your data update (listing under POSTGRADIRELAND FAIR, Dublin’. They advise you that ‘The updating of your pre-registered listing in our exhibitors directory is essential to guarantee problem-free communication’. They also enclose a form which shows the information they have on record for you and advise you to submit corrections. They go on to say that after they receive this information ‘your free listing will be activated and published among priority search results.’ In the small print it also states that ‘Cost per year amount to Euro 1181 – or its monetary equivalent in Mexican pesos according to the exchange rate on the date of payment – and become due each year from the date of the invoice issued for the current year.’
We stress that they are not related to postgradireland, gradireland or GTI Media Ltd. in anyway.
If you do receive such an invoice please let us know and send us the correspondence. Our advice would be not to contact Commercial Online Manuals or impart any details to them.
